Warp and Woolens

Exploring Fibercraft in the Rocky Mountain West

About Us

Colorado fiber artists Darla Landfair and Mark Riehm have been spinning, weaving, and creating lace for more than 30 years. Struck by the wealth of resources in their region, in 2021 they set out to explore fibercraft heritage in the Rocky Mountain West. Through interviews, demos, and an interactive map, they invite new and experienced fiber artists alike to join the adventure, discover resources, and share their creative experience.

Warp and Woolens is all about exploring fibercraft in the Rocky Mountain West and sharing the adventure. We seek to inspire new generations to experience fiber art magic and make it easy to get started. We strive to connect people to fiber resources in their area, and around the world.
